About the Venue
Velvet Crown Lounge is a modern Australian restaurant offering a contemporary dining experience. Our menu features seasonal Australian ingredients and innovative dishes. The restaurant operates alongside a dedicated poker room and card lounge, creating a distinctive destination where refined dining and social poker meet under one roof.
We provide a physical, face-to-face poker environment in our dedicated Poker Room and Card Lounge. Poker is played exclusively on-site with physical cards and chips as table accessories. No online poker, betting, or financial rewards are offered. The poker experience is social and recreational, intended for adult guests who appreciate the tactile ritual of a well-run card room.
Age Restriction and Identification
Velvet Crown Lounge is an adult-only venue. All guests must be 18 years of age or older. This applies to both the restaurant and the poker areas. Valid identification may be requested at any time, and guests unable to provide proof of age may be refused entry.
18+ Venue
You must be 18 or older to enter Velvet Crown Lounge. Proof of age is required on request.
Acceptable forms of identification include a valid Australian driver's licence, passport, or proof-of-age card. Digital copies may be accepted at management's discretion. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who cannot verify their age.
Reservations and Cancellations
Making a Reservation
Reservations for dining can be made via our website, phone, or email. For poker room access, reservations are recommended to ensure availability. We may require a confirmation for large groups. Contact details are provided on the Reservations & Contact page.
Cancellation Policy
Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or modify your reservation. Late cancellations or no-shows may affect future booking privileges. We understand unforeseen circumstances; contact us as soon as possible. No fees are charged for cancellations.
Conduct and Prohibited Activities
Guests are expected to behave respectfully towards staff and other patrons. Disruptive, abusive, or intoxicated behaviour will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to refuse service or entry to anyone violating these terms. Dress code: smart casual is recommended, especially in the poker room.
Prohibited Activities
The following are strictly prohibited on the premises:
- Any form of gambling, betting, or wagering.
- Use of illegal substances.
- Bringing outside food or beverages without permission.
- Photography in the poker room without consent.
No money, betting, or financial rewards are involved in any activity at Velvet Crown Lounge.
